Wolf Midstream

In July 2023, Wolf finalized the construction of a proprietary natural gas liquids recovery, transportation, and separation system with an ultimate capacity of approximately 70,000 barrels per day. The NGL Pipeline Assets connect a Wolf-owned and operated NGL recovery facility in the Wood Buffalo region with a Wolf-owned and operated NGL separation facility in Sturgeon County. The underlying business is supported by long-term commercial arrangements with NGL off-takers and a 25-year transportation service agreement (TSA) that ultimately allow for stable and predictable, multi-generational returns for NLIA and their respective Indigenous communities.

This year, after more than 30 years without a recreation facility, Whitefish (Goodfish) Lake First Nation opened the doors to a brand-new multiplex. With support from AIOC’s loan guarantee program, the Nation invested in infrastructure projects that generated stable revenue, making it possible to secure financing for the new facility and gathering place.
