Meet the AIOC Engagement Team

AIOC was created to help Indigenous Nations and groups transform ingenuity into tangible, commercially viable projects. These relationships are vital to the success of our work.

It is the role of the AIOC engagement team to establish and nurture these relationships. Our team is dedicated to listening to the needs, concerns, goals and aspirations of Indigenous Nations and groups at every stage of the process.

Our engagement team is here to:

  • Explain how the program works (to the council or community)
  • Review which projects, Nations and groups are eligible
  • Support you in applying for AIOC capacity grants
  • Learn how we can better answer your questions and support your needs as an organization

Together, we connect with every Indigenous Nation and group in Alberta through one-on-one meetings and information sessions. In addition, we host yearly networking events to bring together current and potential partners from community, industry and government. We will continue to build these relationships and explore opportunities to partner for prosperity.
