Please answer the following questions to determine if your Indigenous nation or group is eligible to apply.

1. Are you an authorized representative of an eligible Indigenous nation or group? (Private Indigenous-owned businesses do not qualify).

2. Do you have a clear statement of support to pursue involvement in a project by your nation or group’s leadership? E.g. A letter of support or band council resolution, or a formal decision document for a Métis group?

3. Does your project fall under one of the following seven sectors?

  • Natural Resources
  • Transportation
  • Agriculture
  • Telecommunications
  • Tourism
  • Technology
  • Health Care

4. Does the amount of the AIOC loan guarantee you require fall between $20 million and $250 million?
